We are a small, family-run furniture and home store built on careful judgement and long-term thinking.

Before settling in the UK in 2021, I spent many years working in finance in China and Hong Kong. That experience shaped how I approach work: attention to detail, disciplined decision-making, and a respect for quality. Those standards now quietly guide everything I do. The idea for this shop grew from a long-standing love of English cottage interiors - homes that feel collected rather than designed, layered over time, and shaped by everyday living. We are drawn to spaces that feel warm, personal, and lived-in, where comfort and character matter more than perfection. 

We travelled around China and other countries in East Asia to source the products. We favour objects with presence and calm, we select pieces that feel considered, functional, and enduring. While our approach is rooted in an appreciation for balance, restraint, and longevity, we are equally interested in thoughtful influences from different cultures. Used with care, these elements add quiet interest and depth, making a home feel more personal and more alive.

This approach allows us to offer furniture and objects that genuinely suit British homes in proportion, materials, finish, and everyday use. Our collection brings together characterful vintage and one-off pieces alongside selected contemporary designs. We enjoy seeing an old British house gently refreshed by an unexpected detail, a new space softened by timeworn elements, or a simple room where old and new sit together feeling natural, cosy, and lived-in.
