Finished in dark earthy tones with layered white markings from the firing process, the surface has a richly textured, rustic appearance. Its rounded silhouette and irregular rim give the piece a strong handmade presence.
A drainage hole at the base allows it to be used as a planter, while its sculptural form also makes it striking as a decorative object on its own.
Each piece is individually made, so variations in shape, surface and glaze are part of its character.
