A sculptural bench formed from a single slab of golden camphor wood imported from Myanmar, aged for more than 50 years. The timber reveals a warm honey tone and richly layered grain, shaped by time and preserved in its natural form.
The wood is set within high-hardness epoxy resin imported from Denmark, cast around the slab to create a seamless structure. The resin is exceptionally clear and luminous, allowing the natural wood grain to remain fully visible. Light passes through the material, giving the piece a sense of transparency, depth, and quiet brilliance.
The surface is polished to a smooth, glass-like clarity, creating a finish that feels bright, full, and gently radiant, while the organic edges of the camphor wood remain untouched. The result is a balance between natural material and contemporary craftsmanship.
With a 5.5cm thick slab, the bench carries a substantial presence while maintaining a refined, minimalist silhouette.
Suitable as a bench, hallway console, or statement piece within a living space. Matching stools are also available, made using the same technique.
Because the timber retains its original shape and character, every piece is entirely unique.
