At its centre is a small porcelain roundel, hand-painted with a bird perched on a flowering branch. It is surrounded by an intricately carved openwork panel of scrolling foliage and flowers, retaining its original rich red finish, subtle gilt details and beautifully aged patina.
The antique carved panel has been carefully set within a newly crafted wooden frame, giving the original piece a new purpose while preserving its character and craftsmanship.
