A pair of distinctive decorative pieces combining original vintage Chinese carved panels with newly crafted solid elm wood trays.
The decorative panel at the centre of each piece is vintage, estimated to date from around the 1920s–1940s. Each retains its original carved details, aged painted finish and the natural marks and wear acquired over many decades.
The surrounding tray and frame are newly made from solid elm wood, designed specifically to give these beautiful old decorative fragments a new purpose.
Each piece can be used flat as a decorative tray for tea ware, ceramics, candles or other treasured objects, or displayed vertically as a piece of wall art.
There are two individual vintage designs to choose from:
Black & Green
A more understated design with dark carved detailing, touches of aged green and an organically shaped central wooden panel.

A warmer design with an aged red finish, traces of gold and a circular central wooden panel.

As the central panels are genuinely vintage, signs of age — including worn paint, small marks, colour variations and irregularities — are to be expected and form part of the character of each piece.
